It is produced from ‘Bends’ – a fine quality leather, extracted from the best portion of the cowhide. These cowhides extend 8 to 10 square feet and 4 to 4.5 oz in thickness (about one sixteenth of an inch) on an average. This property of extra fineness and mellow texture makes them desirable for lacing.
